Rachaporn Choochuey

Louis I. Kahn Visiting Assistant Professor

Born in Bangkok, Rachaporn Choochuey received her B.Arch from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, M.S.AAD. from Columbia University, and Ph.D. in Architecture History from The University of Tokyo. She was a faculty member at the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University during 2002-2022. In 2009, she co-founded all(zone) in Bangkok where she is the design director.

In 2016 all(zone) completed MAIIAM Contemporary Art Museum in Chiang Mai, the first contemporary art museum in Thailand and awarded as Best New Museum of Asia Pacific in 2017. Their international participations and exhibitions include those at Guggenheim Museum, the 2015 Chicago Architecture Biennial, Vitra Design Museum 2017, the 2018 Triennale di Milano, Echigo-Tsumori Triennale 2018, and the 2019 Sharjah Architecture Triennial. Domus magazine selected all(zone) as one of 100+ Best Architecture Firm in 2019. Monocle magazine awarded a project of all(zone) as one of Top 50 Best Design Award 2021. all(zone) is commissioned to design MPavilion 2022 in Melbourne, which will be inaugurated in November 2022.
